Friday, April 18 @ 8:30am: Intermediate Hike at Fort Worth Nature Center.

This hike will start at the Visitor Center, continue along the Riverbottom Trail to the Canyon Ridge Trail, and finish at the end of the Canyon Ridge Trail, which is the Greer Island levee, covering a total of 6 miles. Several cars will be dropped off at the Greer Island parking lot in order to bring everyone back to the Visitor Center.

• All hikers should meet at the LMRA Fitness Center @ 8:30am and carpool to the Fort Worth Nature Center.
• The cost for the hike is the $4.00 entry fee to the Fort Worth Nature Center.

Saturday, May 17 @ 8:00am: Intermediate Hike at Dinosaur Valley State Park.

This hike will include crossing a river, rocks, loose gravel, and inclines. Hiking boots / shoes are recommended. The total trip time, including travel time to Glen Rose, will be approximately 4.5 hours. For those interested, we can grab a bite to eat after the hike.

• All hikers should meet at the LMRA Fitness Center @ 8:00am and the carpools will leave promptly at 8:10am for Glen Rose.
• The cost for the hike is the $5.00 park entry fee to Dinosaur Valley State Park Center.

• Hikes will be canceled in the case of inclement weather or when a minimum of 8 hikers are not signed up.
• Bring water / hydration pack, e.g. CamelBak, cell phone, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, medications / inhalers recommended by your doctor, and a snack.
